How much does a CeX franchise cost?

A CeX franchise requires a total investment of between €180,000 and €250,000, Most of this investment will go towards stock and shop fitting. You can either open a small store or a larger one depending on the site and the available budget.

What is included in the franchise package?

Do you need any previous management experience to become a CeX franchisee?
Not necessarily, however, retail management experience is preferable. Successful CeX franchisees ideally embrace a passion for technology and customer satisfaction, as well as strong business acumen.

CeX provides all new franchisees with a comprehensive 12-week intensive training programme aimed to prepare you to run your franchise. During your journey, you will also be assigned a Regional Franchise Manager, who can assist you every step of the way.

What is a normal day for a CeX franchisee like?
As a CeX franchisee, you will own and manage your own CeX store, your role will encompass a number of activities, including running the store, recruiting, managing and motivating your team, building and maintaining relationships with customers and growing the business overall. CeX encourages franchisees to develop their business and, if they wish to, expand to more locations. Some multi-unit franchisees having more than 20 stores and some others having multiple stores in different countries. This will change the requirements and the daily life of the franchisee to a more administrative manager role.
